Privacy Policy

Firework Mania (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a single-player iOS arcade game. We collect the minimum data needed to run the game and improve it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

  • On-device game state. Your highest score, unlocked rockets and sky packs, Spark balance, and your selected cosmetic. Stored locally on your iPhone via standard system preferences. Never transmitted to our servers.
  • Anonymous analytics. Aggregated event data (runs played, waves reached, mistakes, cosmetics equipped) via PostHog. Events are tied to a randomly generated device ID, never to your name, email, or Apple ID. Used only to fix bugs and tune game balance.
  • Advertising identifiers. If you allow tracking when prompted, Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is used by Google AdMob to serve relevant ads. If you decline, you still see ads but they are generic. Change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

2. What we do NOT collect

  • Your name, email, phone number, or address.
  • Your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
  • No account or login required.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Game Center

If you have Game Center enabled, your best altitude score is submitted to the Firework Mania leaderboard. This is handled entirely by Apple under your existing Game Center settings. We never see your Game Center identifier or nickname. You can disable Game Center anytime in iOS Settings → Game Center.

4. Advertising

Firework Mania shows interstitial and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

  • Your IDFA (if you allowed tracking)
  • General device info (model, iOS version, screen size)
  • General location (country / region, not precise)

5. In-app purchases

Sparks bundles and Remove Ads purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment info. We only receive confirmation that the purchase succeeded so we can grant the matching item or feature.

6. Children

Firework Mania is rated 4+ and is suitable for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

  • Reset all game progress: delete and reinstall the app
  • Opt out of personalized ads: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
  • Request deletion of analytics data tied to your device: email us (see below)

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and bump the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on first launch after the update.
